Casey Gouveia spent her formative years in Seattle, WA but this hair & makeup artist has experienced life all over the globe. She worked as an au pair in Paris, she did her undergraduate studies in London, she had two stints in Tokyo - one studying design and fine art and the second living and working there as a model. Though Casey lived in many countries the one constant was her love for art.

Casey was inspired by art and beautiful images ever since her childhood. She spent a lot of time on the beach creating driftwood sculptures and studying sand dollar patterns. Casey was especially interested in faces - drawing portraits of various people as they slept on busses. In school, she turned to physical therapy and art for her undergrad work but when it came to her major she picked fine art because it allowed her to incorporate creativity and the sense of touch.

After graduation Casey did some modeling and then wardrobe styling which provided an introduction to the advertising world. She was always drawn towards makeup and hair - painting faces and sculpting hair - because the interaction between herself, the model and the client was always a synergy that she found fascinating and beautiful. As an artist, Casey thrives on the opportunity to bring out someone's inner beauty through human touch, nurturing and healing. She considers it her responsibility to make everyone she works with feel comfortable and to encourage them to feel self love and warmth through her energy. Casey is thankful for the privilege of working in this great industry and she always strives to be a team player while bringing joy and alchemy to the set.

Casey currently splits her time between Los Angeles and Seattle with her husband and three kids. In her free time she enjoys anything that lets her create with her hands - gardening, cooking and painting - as well as reading and entertaining with friends.
