Make-up

Sheri Terry, born and raised in the Lone Star State, found her fascination and appreciation of make-up and hair at a very early age. First exploring these interests in the spotlight, acting and modeling took her to Europe, and it’s here she acquired her “hands on” education in the beauty industry. After realizing her passion as an artist was in the crafting of beauty, she moved to New York eleven years ago to pursue a career as a make-up and hair artist.

There, she began working with make-up artists such as Fulvia Farolfi, Laura Mercier, Vincent Longo, Marie Josee LaFontaine and Jeanine Lobell. Whether the work was for editorials, fashion shows or advertising campaigns, Sheri took every opportunity to learn and hone her craft. From her efforts emerged her own visual aesthetic and personal style. Sheri loves what is beautiful, but always with a twist; subtle or bold.

Sheri’s versatile talent has afforded the opportunity to work with a wide range of celebrities and musicians such as Jamie Lynn Sigler, Lauren Hutton, Cobie Smulders, Michelle Rodriguez, Rosario Dawson, Adrien Brody, Ke$ha, Mya, Demi Levato, Jack White, Keith Richards, TI and Spike Lee.

She has shot with famed photographers such as Sebastian Kim, Arthur Elgort, Juergen Teller, Andrew Eccles, Max Vadukal, Kenneth Willardt, and Joe Lally, to name a few.

Her editorial work has appeared in international publications including Vogue, Squint, Biba, Zoo, City Magazine, and 125. Her advertising clients include Clairol, KMS, Target, Macy’s, Avon and Sony.

Sheri Darlyn Terry currently works in Manhattan and Los Angeles.
